Winter may be coming but today on Festival Brides we are taking you right back to the summer with this gorgeous bohemian 70’s styled shoot put together by Suzanne Harrington of Vintage Trousseau, an amazing bridal boutique in London which specialises in vintage inspired gowns for the modern day bride. The aim was to showcase her gorgeous dresses in a colourful, fun and bohemian way.

The shoot took place on the shores of Margate and features some wonderful 70’s inspired decor and styling ideas as well as a whole plethora of amazing suppliers. Companies such as shoot stylists A Peculiar Dream, Fair trade gold specialist Amanda Li Hope (who designs the most innovative and unique wedding rings by the way), Clare Frances who makes gorgeous hand beaded headpieces and MUA Gemma Sutton who was responsible for the soft makeup of the sunkissed bride.

Look out for the gorgeous shimmering two piece from Vintage Trousseau, the hand made flower tipi by Bloomin Wild Flowers and the awesome patterned fabrics used throughout the decor.

70’s Vibes On The Beach….

When I first started thinking about this shoot I really wanted it to have a cool 70s vibe with a relaxed beach feel.  I had met Hayley from A Peculiar Dream before and she made a great job of styling with some gorgeous bright 1970’s vintage fabrics. Meghan Lorna the photographer had spent some time in Margate before so had an idea about the location which happened to be the most sunniest day of the year! The beautiful flowers and cake by Bloomin Wild Flowers fit in with the relaxed style. I loved the wedding rings by Amanda Li Hope who specialises in fair trade gold and delicate earrings by Issey Cornwall. The lovely hand beaded headpieces by Clara Francis compliment the dresses perfectly with hair and make up by Rachel Millar from Gemma Sutton. Wedding planner Cherelle from Perfectly Planned For You helped organise so everything ran smoothly and lovely models Grace Early and Alexander Schappei were great to work with.
