Well, I don’t know about you but I’m DEFINITELY in the party mood right now! Bring on the Christmas break I say and let’s have a great time. If you’re using the festive downtime for a little wedding planning, then this guest post by Chelsea Ellsworth is just what you need. Chelsea’s bringing us the best ideas for a fantastic hen party and I just want them all…

To design the perfect hen party, firstly you must think about the bride’s interests, the size of the party and the location. With so much on offer in London, it’s an exciting opportunity to explore this cosmopolitan city and plan a perfect hen do to suit everybody’s tastes. With these helpful ideas, all you’ll need to do is gather the girls and head to the big city for a hen party your bride will never forget…

The Foodie….

If your bride knows her béchamel from her velouté, there are plenty of things she’ll enjoy doing in London. From cupcake frosting and chocolate making to pizza tossing and sushi rolling, there’re plenty of cooking classes in London. Compete for star prize against the clock and enjoy feasting on your creations at the end of the lesson. Move on to wine tasting or cocktail making to set yourself up for a night on the town.

 The Theatre Lover….

If your hen can’t get enough of the glitz and the glamour of the theatre, head to the West End for a spectacular range of shows to enjoy. Be amazed by the seemly effortless performances by world-class actors as they take to the stage to appear in dramas, comedies, musicals and all of the hits right off Broadway. You may even find a show that combines all three.

The Adrenaline Junkie….

If the hen is seeking adventure, then a group high-wire activity may be more up her street. Navigate through the treetops, over obstacles and fly down zip wires for something truly exhilarating. If you prefer to stay on the ground, challenge yourself in a puzzling escape room or head off-road on a jeep safari in the countryside.

The Disco Diva….

If you can’t get the bride off the dance floor, then take her to a dance class with a twist, and learn the sultry art of burlesque. Remember to pack your feather boa as you take note from experienced instructors whilst you strut your stuff and have a bit of a giggle at the same time. After the day event, take to the mic and unleash your inner diva in your very own private karaoke room. You’ll find these all over London and it’s the perfect place to enjoy a few drinks whilst singing your heart out to all your favourite songs.

The Sophisticated Sister….

If the bride is after a more sophisticated affair, why not treat her to a day spent in one of the classic galleries or a twist on a traditional afternoon tea? Sample the delights of the traditional English pastime on a vintage bus and soak up the cultural landmarks whilst basking in the nostalgia. After filling up on the food and London’s skyline, spend the rest of the day in the spa, relaxing in the sauna or with a revitalising treatment.

So, which of these hen party ideas will you plan?

Thanks so much for that brilliant feature Chelsea, we’ve loved having you with us today xx
