Morning all.. How are we?? All a bit weirded out after yesterdays rain? What was that all about. Feels like socks and jumper weather now – Come back summer!!
Maybe this little sunshine shoot will inspire the sun to shine again. Beautifully captured by Diamonds and Doodles – The inspiration for this shoot came from Shelley (Diamonds and Doodles) walking in the beautiful meadows at the back of her house in Nether Edge, Sheffield and a beautiful vintage dress that she first spied at a vintage wedding fair… Over to the lovely Shelley!

As well as being a photographer I run a budget wedding blog and have come across some amazing suppliers and I wanted to work with them on a shoot that showcased an affordable wedding look for brides on a budget. All the dresses in the shoot are under £80 and looked absolutely amazing when combined with gorgeous make up and hair styling and of course some beautiful flower crowns…

The make up for the shoot was created using non pro kit by the lovely & talented Ruth of the Beauty Scriptures.  Ruth is a new beauty blogger who will be writing regular features for Pretty Thrifty on buying bridal make up on a budget and DIY tutorials.

Amy Mcullagh is a super talented hair stylist based in Sheffield who works on lots of creative photoshoots and adores weddings.

Of the Wild Florists in Broomhill Sheffield are pretty new, having started with a temporary pop up shop in Sheffield city centre her (Kath’s) business has flourished and she now has the most beautiful little shop all to herself. Her flowers always have that just picked from the garden feel and a style that is uniquely hers.

What a pretty little shoot for a Tuesday morning. We hope it has inspired your festival wedding look and even better its a on a budget!  x
