The House Meadow at Worsenden Farm, set amongst the beautiful Kent countryside in the picturesque village of Biddenden, is quite simply the PERFECT festival style wedding venue. With green fields spreading as far as the eye can see, a wild flower meadow, a stillwater lake and a grand old oak tree just asking for a free spirited couple to say I do under it’s rich green branches; you really get the sense of feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere at The House Meadow and it’s just lovely! Add to this the incredibly lovely Clare Passmore, whose vision it was to turn her family’s farm into a relaxed, alternative, more eco friendly wedding venue, and you have yourself the most genuine and easy going place to say I do.

What makes The House Meadow so special is not just it’s charm and natural beauty but also the space that lends itself perfectly to a festival wedding. In fact, we loved the setting so much that it was the first and only choice of venue for our festival styled wedding shoot (coming soon peeps!) and what a good choice it was too! There’s an area for a huge tipi tent, a main stage, separate fields for parking, a quaint pretty woodland and ample of space for your guests to roam and relax. There is also the option to stay at the amazing Glamping site Bloomsburys, who work with The House Meadow to offer luxury camping if required.

Being a venue for more down to earth alternative weddings, Clare can pretty much accommodate anything you request (within reason) giving you the freedom to have the wedding of your dreams. The venue can be a blank canvas so you can use which ever supplier you wish or you can call on Clare’s extensive list of expertise to help plan your big day.

The only downside to The House Meadow is that it’s not registered for legal ceremonies, however, most couples planning a festival style wedding usually opt for a humanist ceremony giving them the independence to get married exactly how they wish and The House Meadow is a lovely location to do so. Clare also works with the amazing One Life Weddings who just happen to be marrying Bob and I!
