Well I think it is safe to say that 2012 has been one of the best year’s Great Britain has had for a long time what with the Olympics and the Queens Jubilee. When I was watching the new year build up on the BBC and then the incredible firework display, I felt so overwhelmed and proud of how much our country has achieved and believe me, I’m not usually that patriotic! It also made me think about how much Festival Brides has grown over the last year into something that both Kelly and I are extremely proud of. Balancing a full time job, planning my own wedding and my personal life with the blog has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to overcome in 2012 but I’ve done it and on reflection, I’ve loved every single second of it – even the times where I’ve felt like I’ve not coped. Sometimes it’s the bad/tough experiences that make us stronger and I for one have learnt how resilient I can be and that if I put my mind to it, I can always push that little bit harder. Starting Festival Brides was one of the best things I’ve ever done and when I look back over 2012’s posts, it makes me even more excited about where 2013 may lead and how many more amazing people I’m going to meet! Cool people like you who are planning festival style weddings!!

So, without further a do – here are my personal favourite posts from 2012!
