There are so many beautiful real weddings on the big wide world web and they are a perfect way of gathering wedding inspiration.
Below are a few weddings that have been unleashed into the blogosphere this week and I think all 3 of them rock! Brought to you by 2 of my favourite wedding blogs from across the pond: Green Wedding Shoes and 100 Layer Cake
Alexis and Evan’s Whimsical & Fun DIY Wedding – Sunflowers, vibrant colours, the big outdoors and paper lanterns! This bright and colourful wedding oozes so much wedding inspiration for any couple trying to instill a bit of lighthearted fun into their day.
I absolutely love their use of paper lanterns especially outside over the spot lights to transform them from decor features during the day to light features at night.

Ashley & Ricky’s Handmade Vintage Circus Wedding – I haven’t stopped thinking about this awesome quirky circus wedding since I saw it featured on Green Wedding Shoes last month. Everything about it had me smiling and the way Ashley and Ricky have incorporated the fun of the fair into their big day is inspirational.
I love all the decor and handmade details – the paper fans, streamers, popcorn, pinwheels, bunting and of course tents galore!
They really captured everything that is fantastic about a day at the carnival: The food, the colours, the sounds, the crowds and the spirit of fun. This wedding is perfect inspiration for a couple looking to capture the festival vibe for their big day.
Trevor & Jillian’s Budget Rustic Farmhouse Wedding – I love of a bit of rustic romance and this wedding featured on the crafty US wedding blog 100 Layer Cake is full to the brim of love love love! The best part about it is the blushing bride managed to organise this beautiful country wedding for 160 guests all on £4500 – all you need is a bit of creativity, some glue and a big dose of imagination!
I love the hand painted sign above – so simple and easy to do and adds a personal/handmade touch to their wedding.
The fabulous rustic decor below, from the sweet country lace, mix matched buttons, handmade magnets that were used as favours, to the old white window shutter used as the table plan ( I love this idea), all came from a budget of £190! Yes £190!! All from traipsing around craft stores, discount fabric shops and searching the internet – just goes to show that if you put your mind to it and are a bit DIY savvy, you too can achieve a beautiful wedding on a budget just like Trevor and Jillian.
Get yourself down to your city flea markets and let your creative juices flow!

If you have a wedding that you would like to share we would love to hear from you. We love all theme’s especially if they are festival related!
Bob and I are off to view two more wedding venues today one of which is a new venue for 2012 and will be featured on the blog very soon! Think countryside, camping and a couple of gypsy caravans……….can’t wait to see it!
