Happy Saturday Peeps!
Today we’re taking you away from the grey clouds and the cold winter breeze of our beloved blighty and over to the clear blue skies and the hot summer air of South Africa – oh and did I mention there’s a beach as well!?
Brought to you by the fabulous welovepictures, Pieter and Ingrid’s beautiful ‘shabby-chic’ handmade beach wedding took place at Strandkombuis Restaurant on Mile Beach in Western Cape and has to be one of the most chilled out and free spirited weddings I’ve seen to date.
I love the delicate flowers in Ingrid’s hair, her simple but beautiful wedding dress (made by her mum), the mix match of origami and wild flowers used through out the wedding decor, the guests walking bare foot through the sand – it feels so relaxed that I can almost hear the sound of the sea and feel the heat of the sand beneath my feet!
All the decor was made with love by Ingrid and her friends and she used only fynbos (native Western Cape plants) for her center pieces – very festival brides!

Have a fab weekend guys.
