Hey Lovely People,
As promised, here is Part 2 of Kate and Matt’s rustic chic wedding told beautifully through Kella MacPhee’s quirky photography.
If you missed Part 1 then no dramas – just click here!
Over to Kella….
‘The small wedding was held inside and out……….tables were dressed to the nines with a mix of rustic vintage finds with an industrial feel too!
Kate, a designer, did all the details herself and what a good job she did too!
Centrepieces were a mixture of old and new with books covered in canvas and wrapped in twine; mason jars painted silver; layers of jars with birds nests; and succulents and candlesticks that were all such a treat for the eyes!
Inside the rustic venue, vintage filing drawers held the return envelopes from guests and more layers of drippy candles, books with their covers removed and wine bottles were used.
The cake was amazing, one of the most beautiful I’ve seen! It was made by Katie Levins and it was absolutely stunning!
The wedding was cocktail inspired and guests were treated to artisanal cheeses, breads, shrimp and spreads.
Music on the couple’s macbook by bands like radiohead and the breeders rocked the night away!
It was such a treat to be able to document this couples day and I wish them lots of luck and love for the future.”
Thank you so much to Kella for allowing Festival Brides to feature this awesome wedding – how cool were those centrepieces and yes that cake was AMAZING!??
Loved the use of the old books as well.
Hope you guys enjoyed viewing this wedding as much as we did!
Until next time…….
