Afternoon Lovely People,
I hope you all had a brilliant weekend and soaked up as much of that gorgeous sunshine as possible.
We have a truly wonderful intimate wedding to share with you today.
Sent all the way from Spain and captured so beautifully by Sublim Fotografia, Luis and Laia’s small but perfectly formed wedding had me smiling from start to finish. Laia looked absolutely stunning in her floaty Teresa Helbig wedding dress that was finished off perfectly by a winter bolero, a bohemian style floral crown and some very cool white ‘wedding’ boots. I just adore the way she looked. I also adore their wedding theme which was inspired by the great photographer and filmmaker William Klein. He was famous for rebelling against ‘classic’ photography in the 1950’s/60’s and instead pushed the boundaries by taking pictures that were very up close and personal to his subjects. His style was very dramatic and his images always told a story. Luis and Laia’s wedding captures the essence of this through their own individual styles, the vintage decor, the beautiful ceremony and reception venues and of course the fantastic photography by Sublim Fotografia.
Because Luis and Laia are Spanish, some of the description of their beautiful wedding has been lost in translation so I have decided to just let the images speak for themselves. So sit back, relax and enjoy this beautiful wedding…..
