I think today’s Independent Love Song is probably one of the most alternative first dance love songs we’ve featured so far on Festival Brides which is one of the reasons I love it!

On The Street Where You Live was originally from the 1956 Broadway musical My Fair Lady and has since been covered by numerous artists including Nat King Cole, Marvin Gaye and Quincy Jones. This version however, by the super talented Mr. Hudson & The Library, takes this classic song and gives it a completely new and modern sound, so much so that you would think its a different song all together!

I love it and I hope you do too!

Enjoy x

Mr. Hudson & Library’s album, Tale of Two Cites, is awesome and well worth a listen. It’s only £3.99 from Amazon!

Check it out on Soundcloud.

Big Love,
