Happy Monday Peeps!
Hope you managed to have a good weekend despite the rain, rain and more rain.
I headed over to Maids To Measure on Saturday with my 6 bridesmaids, Mum and mother in law in tow. I’m not sure whether Sinclair and India, the lovely ladies behind Maids To Measure, knew what hit them when we all rocked up! The G&T’s had been flowing since 1pm and our appointment wasn’t until 4 so we were a little excitable shall we say! We had a ball though and the girls couldn’t have been more accommodating. Our glasses were always full of champagne and India had the patience of a saint when it came to my friends trying on more or less every dress in the shop! We did narrow it down to two beautiful ethereal style dresses so I’m very happy – bring on the 4th May!!
If you are still on the hunt for your bridesmaids dresses then Maids To Measure should definitely be on your shortlist for places to start – the girls are great and their range of dresses are lovely.
We will be documenting the whole process after the wedding so watch this space!
For today’s Independent Love Song, I’m in need of a bit of rasta love! I’m just going to close my eyes and allow Bob Marley’s voice to transport me to a place that’s hot, sunny and chilled……..whenever I hear his music it always reminds me of travelling South East Asia and I love that.
Turn Your Lights Down Low was my very good friends, Rachel and Mark’s first dance love song. They have been married for 10 years and are expecting their second child in the New Year so this song certainly laid down the foundations for an amazing life together.
Enjoy this one peeps – it’s a keeper!
