Happy Friday people!!! So nearly Christmas – Who is excited?? I’m feeling so chilled out about it this year and have done most of my crimbo shopping…More time now to enjoy relaxing with a mulled wine or two!!
So you all know that we are just a little bit obsessed about woodland weddings right now!! We are blown away to be promoting a festival woodland site for legal weddings in Kent and a couple of weeks ago we did a very chilly shoot there (More on this in the new year!!)
For now we wanted to bring you some woodland inspired images to show you how truly unique your festival wedding can be in the woods… Many festivals have a secret woodland with entertainment and acts performing amongst the tress and many festivals actually take place ‘In the Woods‘… Being surrounded by such beauty and stature just takes the festival experience to another level!!

Keep styling simple by using the trees at your backdrop – We love picture and frames hanging from trees along with lights to create an intimate festival atmosphere.. Tipis set up in the woodland look extra special, beautiful small spaces to house your guests in glamping heaven!! Deep muted colours are the perfect tones to suit your natural backdrop, especially in Autumn and Winter.. For summer woodland weddings just add pastel tones to brighten the look and feel.
Our new favourite idea is layering your photographs.. This is a super idea for a festival wedding as it immerses you in the backdrop of your truly unique festival backdrop. Images become memorable, artistic and ethereal!! Will show some examples of this in the new year, but we think its going to be a big trend in photography as detail and styling takes a back seat in 2013!!
