In early 2009 like so many prospective Brides and Grooms around the country Darren and Ali Harrison began to make plans for there May 2010 Wedding, but immediately had the stumbling block of how can they make there wedding unique to them on a small budget. Ideally they didn’t want to have to look around for a village hall or a traditional wedding venue for the reception, nothing wrong with that I hear you say! But they wanted to celebrate the day as a statement of there personalities, they wanted everyone to be relaxed and not constrained by the surroundings of 4 walls. So after lengthy research and planning they opted to bring there day/reception outdoors with a festival tinged celebration with Canvas Tipis and Bell Tents as the back drop. Together with the eclectic musical sounds of Fela Kutis’ afro-beat to the blues and swing tinged Kitty, Daisy & Lewis mixed with a hint of Daft Punk and New Order too -the back to nature festival atmosphere mean’t their was no heirs and graces on the big day.
And it was from this that more than just a marriage was born, the dawn of there business emerged- Tinkers Bells.
Based on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border Tinkers Bells now hire out Bell Tents for all occasions for just about any location, and of course providing unique wedding accommodation festival style in there Bell Tent Villages is a great way to keep the festival vibe going into the night, for both wedding guests as well as the Bride and Groom. The Bride and Groom do of course have the luxury of the double bed while guests can kick back and relax in the subtly furnished Chill Out Tent before sliding under the covers in there own canvas bell tent, ideal for those guests who don’t wish to worry about how they’ll be getting home at the end of the night.
And the Kids…. well, it can be a long day for the Little Tinkers too, so Tinkers Bells can also provide a Soft Play Tent or a Tea Party styled tent complete with tables and chairs for the little ones to keep entertained with some crafts!
Also, in the knowledge that the build up to your special day can be hectic, Tinkers Bells fully appreciate the importance of planning a hassle free day. And it’s with this in mind that they try to be as accommodating as possible with preparations, so once you’ve decided on which tents you require and most importantly how many guests need to be accommodated in your Village, you can simply leave Tinkers Bells to pitch your tents ready for your guests to arrive!
