Afternoon Lovely People,
I hope you’re all having a good week so far.
We have some fabulous bohemian ceremony and styling inspiration to share with you today. If you are looking for cool and quirky ideas on how to create a ceremony area that is full of bright colours and bohemian styling, then you have come to the right place!
Penny from The Little Lending Company, along with some fabulous suppliers, put together this colourful boho shoot on behalf of The Most Unusual Wedding Fair at Godwick Barn. Their aim was to fuse colour with nomad styling and I think you will agree that they have pulled it off beautifully.
Penny offers advice on how you can recreate this look for your wedding.
Step outside and go bold with your boho….
Words by Penny from The Little Lending Company
Step outside and go bold with your boho. Maximise your blooms and colour combinations for your ceremony focus. Use a simple wooden frame and dress with cool macrame hangs and large antlers for wows with the vows. Lay a persian rug at the head of the aisle to stand bare foot with your beau. Light candles and drape through more greenery at the base of the arch for a little extra romance.
Hubby and Wifey wooden chair backs with green garlands will make your guests smile. Think about additional decor at the start of the aisle too, a tall milk churn and welcome message on a blackboard and little brass and glass vessels in apple crates all carry the look through. Throw bright mis-matched blankets over hay bales.
Keeping Things Eclectic…
Keep things eclectic within your inside space with peacock chairs, more macrame, retro post boxes and peg board bar signage. Layers of mixed glass cake stands and bowls with slate tiles and decanters on a ‘grazing table’ to keep things ultra relaxed. Add more candle light from brass or glass again.
I just adore the styling of this shoot. The ceremony area looks amazing with the macrame hangs and flowers and I LOVE the peacock chair! The whole shoot has such a wild feel to it – perfect for a festival wedding!
