Lammy and Clare met at university and he proposed on New Year’s Day 2012 after they spent the night dancing to 90’s garage and rock in Clare’s family living room! After convincing Clare to take their uber cute dog Enzo for a walk, Lammy got down on one knee in the fields near Clare’s family home and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.

Since then the wedding planning has gone into full force with a date set for October this year in a new barn. The theme is most definitely along the festival vibe with vinyl as table names, wild flowers spread throughout, sweets and games to keep their guests entertained and a few of Lammy’s friends playing their punk music live! It sounds like it’s going to be a wedding to remember especially with Enzo as the ring bearer!

“Lammy is in a band and I spend a lot of time watching him play gigs after work in London. Our relationship is pretty music based so it made sense to have a wedding which incorporated this! We’re really into 60’s/90’s shoegazing music, post punk, ska etc”

Being a regular visitor to our festival pages, Clare thought we’d be interested in sharing their gorgeous engagement shoot and of course, we jumped at the chance!

Clare calls it their ‘Shoe Gaze Picnic.’
