For the past 2 months, we have been sharing little sneak previews into the epic The Keeper and The Dell alternative styled shoot that took place earlier in the year and that Festival Brides were very lucky to be a part of. In June we shared the inspiration behind the shoot and exclusive behind the scene images. In July we shared the incredible video by Capture Media and in the past 2 weeks we have been sharing a picture a day from the shoot on our Instagram page. It has been quite a build up and I know many of you have been itching to see the full shoot in all it’s glory. Well lovelies, I’m pleased to say the wait is finally over!
I have been so looking forward to sharing this shoot with you. Not only are the pictures captured by Camilla Andrea and Kev Foster absolutely stunning, but the entire shoot is just full of so much festival style wedding inspiration. If you are falling a little short for ideas on how to make your wedding rock, then you needn’t worry anymore!
Put together by Lolly from The Keeper and The Dell, the shoot features the crème de la crème of the Norfolk wedding industry with awesome suppliers such as Frida + Florentina, Crumpet and Trumpet, Magical Camping and Lucy Says I Do. It also features THE bridal designers of 2015 that everyone has been talking about……Grace Loves Lace, Daughters of Simone and ASOS.
As there were two amazing photographers involved in the shoot, we have decided to split the feature into two parts with the first featuring Camilla Andrea’s wonderful photos. So pour yourself a G&T and prepare to be wowed by this beautiful alternative styled wedding shoot.
The Keeper and the Dell is a wonderfully secluded, outdoor wedding venue in Norfolk which opened in June 2013 for unique weddings & celebrations. The trend in the USA and Australia for beautifully outdoor weddings has taken the UK by storm, with couples looking for creative and more intimate ways to celebrate their marriage. But there are very few venues in this country that are able to embrace this wonderfully rustic style whilst having an experienced owner at the helm to make sure that all events run smoothly. The Keeper and the Dell with its beautiful collective of a vintage canvas marquee in a pretty woodland dell, an eighteenth century Gamekeeper’s barn and pretty camping gardens, is one of the most perfectly romantic of places to host a unique outdoor wedding in England.
Lolly from The Keeper and The Dell wanted to create a running theme of Norfolk Love and Family. ‘Family’ in the sense of the stuff that brings like minded people together who are all up for a bit of hard graft to pull off a great celebration. She wanted the shoot to have a Mediterranean meets Anglophile vibe with good energy and a strong editorial style. In her words….
Imagine an artistic/celebrity couple with a true eclectic edge, wanting to marry in crazy England but with a Mediterranean connection. Capturing the feel of photographer Tim Walker (but staying this side of crazy) with the glorious glamour feel of a Dolce & Gabbana family gathering.
There would be extravagant staging, boho styling, romantic motifs, bold colours, a powerful sense of family and above all, a strong editorial shooting style. Lolly wanted to tell a story through this shoot so suppliers were encouraged to create ‘scenes’ for the models and guests to explore.
Part 2 featuring Kev Foster’s incredible photos will be coming your merry way on Thursday so don’t be a stranger.
