Morning Gorgeous Peeps. I hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend. We have a fabulous shoot to share with your eyes this morning, put together by one of our festival wedding recommended suppliers, Coastal Tents. Their aim was to showcase their sailcloth tents and giant hat tipis and how these two spaces can be dressed for your wedding by using simple classic styling ideas, gorgeous floral designs (look out for the hanging foliage chandeliers and shelf with flowers which we LOVE) and a natural colour palette of mostly green with hints of orange, coral, peach and bronze. The shoot also features some very cool south west wedding suppliers that are perfectly suited to a festival wedding such as Rodeo Events (who supply mouth watering gourmet burgers and an uber cool espresso martini bar) and Barouche Bars whose bar has a cool gentleman’s club vibe to it – pour me a whiskey please!!

Coastal Tents talk us through the shoot and all the wonderful suppliers involved….

A Spring Open Day….

Set in the heart of the Breamore Estate on the Dorset/Hampshire was the location for our Coastal Tents Spring weekend to showcase our two alternative marquees. Wanting to showcase the beauty of our Tipi and Sailcloth tent, we brought together a hand-picked selection of South West suppliers who were able to bring their own sense of unique style to the weekend.  Looking to create something fresh, stylish and a little different in our Sailcloth Tent we drew inspiration from the season of spring. Due to the interior design of both our Sailcloth Tent and Tipis we believe less is more since they create their own backdrop.

Elegant and Classic Styling….

We first took inspiration ‘From Sally With Love’s’ foliage inspired house design stationary and the lushness of the season. Keen to create something a little unexpected we looked to use foliage as the focal point and then added pops of colour in shades of coral, orange, buttercup yellows, blossom pinks mixed together with tones of lime. Emma from Marth & the Meadow created suspended foliage covered branches to hang above our banquet lined trestle tables which were dressed with medrite grey linen from Salisbury based 365 Linen Hire. To tie together the florals and linen and create the overall look Whitehouse Event Crockery supplied us with rose gold and copper accented table ware along with jade goblets.

To compliment the over feel of the day Emma from Fancie Buns Cakery created a bespoke design taking inspiration from the grey tones of the linen and copper accents from the tableware.

Overall the look was elegant and offered something alternative from the current styling trends. We hold 2 open days a year, Spring & Autumn, to allow our potential clients to view our marquees and show them the styling opportunities available with a unique and versatile space.

For inspiration and to see what we are up to follow us on Instagram & Facebook. If you are considering a marquee wedding in the South West then come along to our next open weekend this autumn.
